About AI Companions

Why we build this

Conversational AI got good enough to be genuinely good company, and most products in this space responded by pretending the AI is a person and pushing users toward explicit content. We think there is a better product on the other side of being straight with people: a companion that is clearly an AI, clearly SFW, and clearly worth talking to anyway.

How we make them feel real

A companion is a written character before she is anything else: a history, a way of speaking, things she cares about and things she will not do. Conversations carry over, so the person you talk to on Friday remembers Tuesday. That is where our time goes — into whether it feels like someone — and the machinery is meant to stay out of your way.

What we will not do

• We will not generate sexually explicit text or imagery.
• We will not allow characters that appear to be minors. The minimum age of 18 is enforced on our side, not just in the interface.
• We will not sell your conversations or hand them to anyone else to train their systems.
• We will not pretend a companion is a human being.
